Addis Ababa, 1September 2015 - Ethiopia has finalized its preparations to contribute its share for the Trans-Africa highway project which aims to connect Africa in road transport, Ethiopian Road Authority said. Communication Director of the Authority,Samson Wondimu, said The 10,220 kilometers long Trans-Africa highway extends from Cairo, to Cape Town, and the road on the Ethiopian side which extends through Azezo-Metema-Gonder-Addis Ababa-Hawassa-Moyale is to be finalized and open for service in the near future.
