US President Barrack Obama, on his fourth trip to Africa and first time visit as a sitting US President to Ethiopia, put efforts to advance US trade and investment relationship with Africa. In a press release sent to The Ethiopian Herald yesterday, the US Embassy in Addis Ababa quoted President's National Security Advisor Susan Rice as saying: "President Obama in his trip will lift up the recent 10-year renewal of the African Growth and Opportunity Act, sends strong signal to African partners that US is serious about expanding and sustaining US-Africa trade by helping to create new customers for US businesses overseas."
