Addis Ababa, 5 February 2015 - Sudan and Egypt have been reassured that the area of around the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is free of earthquakes and volcanoes. Ethiopian Ambassador to Khartoum, Abadi Zemo said the people of the area will benefit from the establishment of the dam to generate electricity and will thus lead to industrial and agricultural development.
