Ethiopia: Ethiopian Cargo Qualifies for EU Security Regulation

The Ethiopian Airlines cargo hub in Addis Ababa qualified for the new European Union cargo security regulation called the ACC3. Following the interception of explosives on board a UPS freighter aircraft in 2010, the European Union introduced a new cargo transport security regulation which demands carriers that operate cargo flights to the EU to get their hubs inspected and validated by independent validators.
