Addis Ababa 8 November 2014 - Strengthening international trade ties is crucial to reducing imported goods to Ethiopia and to boosting the capacity of local manufacturers, according to Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael, Finance and Economic Cluster Coordinator with the Rank of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Communication and Information Technology. While opening the 7th Ethio-Chamber International Trade Fair organized by the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations here yesterday, Dr. Debretsion said import substitution plays a pivotal role in sustaining the continuous growth of the country.
